The Greater Fort Worth Area Chapter 260 (GFTW) of APICS—The Association for Operations Management, welcomes you to GFTW Online. This web site provides a guide to the activities and services of the chapter as well as the APICS international organization. You are invited to attend the GFTW Professional Development Meetings (PDM) where your career may be enhanced by a renowned speaker, an interesting plant tour, or a practical workshop as well as a catered dinner. Please review our next Professional Development Meeting presentation. It isn't necessary to be a member to attend any of our activities. Chapter Profile APICS—The Association for Operations Management is a leading international, professional society for manufacturing, service, distribution, and resource management certification, education, and training. In 1982, the Greater Fort Worth Area Chapter #260 of APICS (GFTW) was formed by a group desiring to base an area of operations geographically centered in Fort Worth. Since that time, the chapter has grown into an international award winner for monthly newsletter publications and chapter management. GFTW was chartered and incorporated as a not-for-profit operation dedicated to promoting the APICS body of knowledge and offers its membership and the business community enhanced educational, training, and professional development opportunities.
