     The Just-in-Time: Lean Operating Principles and Techniques instructor-led course was developed for professionals who already have experience in the resource management industry.  The JIT course enables manufacturing and service organizations to eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and utilize resources more efficiently.

 

Learning Objectives
 

  • Examine methods for authorizing build and move of material.

  • Discuss the effect of JIT on supplier and customer relationships.

  • Learn the philosophies of lean manufacturing, kanban, and set-up time reduction.

All workshop courses start at 6:00 P.M. and end at 8:30 P.M. unless otherwise noted.

Course Information: 8 weekly sessions, 2.5 hours each session, 20 hours total

Please Note: 

All registrations and fees must be received by the registration deadline date.

 

Receipt of registration and acceptance of payment will be confirmed by email or phone.  Payment receipt form will be furnished at workshop.  If workshop is rescheduled or canceled by GFTW a full refund of course fee will be made within 15 days of workshop date.  Student cancellations after registration deadline or "no shows" will be subject to a materials cost fee deduction of $35.00 and refund of fee balance will be made within 15 days of workshop date.
