Job Duties
Job Requirements:
The Solution Architect (Finance and Accounting) will focus on all domains of
change in the Finance and Accounting business areas with responsibilities
related to the continuing development, deployment and sustainment of the already
deployed solution. US citizenship required.
Other Related Skills:
Architectural experience in large, complex SAP-based integration
programs
Duties and Responsibilities:
General responsibilities include:
* Architecture strategy, vision, and thought leadership across all domains of
change
* Providing architectural best practice guidance and direction to the Solution
Delivery and the Production Support teams.
* Managing customer relationships as a trusted advisor
* Championing the solution and driving client organization and process change
management
* Solution integration across business, functional, and technical areas
* Alignment of development and modifications with core principles of the
solution
* Gap resolution/management
* Addressing major program issues
* Business development/sales support
* Program process improvement
* Continuous architecture/solution improvement
* Client and LMP team coaching
* Resolving technical design issues
Skills/Knowledge
Critical Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of the Finance and Accounting business and the SAP FI,
CO, FM solutions
Critical Skills:
* 10-15 years of experience in the financial and managerial accounting and
funds management business areas, government related experience strongly
desired
* In-depth knowledge of Industry Best Practices in the above stated business
areas
* Comprehensive consulting skills with the ability to communicate at all
levels of the business
* Experience in large scale SAP deployments
* Experience architecting SAP solutions (SAP FI/CO/FM expertise), ideally in
a government setting
* Experience in SAP implementation lifecycle methodology and tools
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Able to work with a diverse set of individuals
* Able to run affective meetings/workshops.
* Exceptional listening, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
* A proactive self-starter
* Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Visio applications
Educational/Professional Affiliations:
University Degree
CPA highly desired
Organizational Considerations for Good Job Fit:
* Primary work location on site in Marlton, NJ, with significant travel to
various client sites
