Consumables Solutions is a $500M business within Honeywell Aerospace. Our customer base includes all major OEMs, Airlines, MROs, Flight Service Centers and Distributors. From fasteners and bearings to electrical components and seals, Consumables Solutions provides the aerospace hardware customers need coupled with a variety of custom logistic services that help our customers become more efficient.

The primary Distribution Center for Consumables Solutions is located in Roanoke, Texas, which is in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Roanoke site supports in excess of $400 million dollars in annual revenue in a 200,000+ sq. foot operation with 250 employees on site. Roanoke is a component of Aftermarket Services (AMS) within the Aerospace Integrated Supply Chain, and is launching Full Scale Deployment of the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) in Q1 of 2008.

Some key focus areas for the Roanoke Operations Manager are:

* Leading Distribution Operations for Roanoke with 7 direct reports and a total span of control of 200 employees
* Responsible for driving increasing levels of operational performance in Safety, Quality, OTTR and Cost
* Responsible for the formulation and implementation of operational-related strategies and initiatives

* Active participation and leadership in the site's deployment of the Honeywell Operating System
* Leveraging Lean/Six Sigma tools to continuously improve delivery performance, cycle time, and quality

* Partner with Materials, Quality, Sales, Finance & HR to deliver value for our customers

* Actively coach, develop and provide performance feedback/actions to associates and support staff

* Support the HPD Goal Deployment planning and execution process including metric alignment to goals

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or operations management required.
* Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience.
* Minimum of 6 years experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or Distribution Operations Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification preferred

Additional Qualifications:
* Master's degree preferred
* APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification desired

* Desired experience includes proven leadership roles in manufacturing, supply chain management, inventory control, purchasing or planning and demonstrated success in dealing with customers

* Strong customer focus and aggressive bias for action, business growth and delivering results.
* Success at performing to personal and organization stretch goals and metrics.
* Strong working knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management and ERP Systems

* Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, make sound decisions and work effectively in a fast paced, team environment

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
