Job Duties
Young and growing Aerospace Company has a
great career opportunity for an experienced buyer/planner.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate planning and scheduling activities for assigned production
* Setting up New Item Masters
* Manage part numbers/updates and data accuracy in JOB Boss, including BOMs.
* Master Scheduling
* Detail Scheduling
* Material and Parts acquisition
* Capacity Planning
* Inventory Control
* Purchasing Parts and material
Skills/Knowledge
Desired:
* Demonstrated experience as a material/capacity planner in a manufacturing
environment
* Strong understanding of ERP/Job Boss systems
* Bachelor's degree is mandatory
* APICS and/or CPIM certifications a plus
* Should have a thorough understanding and experience in production
planning, forecasting, scheduling, purchasing and inventory control
* Lean manufacturing knowledge or experience
* Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task
