Job Responsibilities

Description: Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, raw materials for manufacturing, and other supplies or services necessary for operation. Schedule products to be produced within the manufacturing environment. Manage equipment maintenance to ensure meeting of master schedule and on-time shipments. Direct and assist shipping and receiving personnel. Perform a variety of other purchasing related functions.


Shifts/Hours: Day Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree with CPIM, CIRM


Requirements: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with superiors, co-workers, subordinates and vendors. Must be able to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Must be able to interpret and analyze information needs, assess training and development needs, and provide technical advice and guidance.

 
Working Conditions: Manufacturing environment that can be dirty with air contamination and periodic intense noise, hazardous materials and chemicals. Weather conditions such as cold, hot, rain, snow, etc. could be a factor as some functions are completed outside.
