Dave Malenfant brings over 25 years in Supply Chain Management.  After completing graduate school at the University of Windsor, Ontario Canada, he started as Distribution Manager with Wyeth Ayerst Canada and left as Director of Materials, Canadian Operations

While in Canada, Dave was Co-founder and President of Signature Consultants, Inc., (1973) a business, finance and economic consulting firm.  Signature’s client base included several companies that required help in re-engineering business processes to maintain solvency.  Dave implemented and operated several other business initiatives that are still profitable in Canada

In 1993, Alcon Laboratories, Inc. in Fort Worth extended an offer to bring Dave to Texas.  After several years of providing leadership and direction for Alcon’s Ft Worth manufacturing supply chain, Alcon created the position of Director, Global Supply Chain for Dave.  In this role, he provides strategic direction for the company’s Global Supply Chain initiatives which includes execution of all Global Supply Chain projects, physical distribution and Global Data Management.

In January 2006, David was promoted to Vice President, Global Supply Chain assuming additional responsibilities for the U.S. Supply Chain Operations in addition to his other responsibilities.

Over the years, Dave has been responsible for the implementation of over 24 different computer systems -- ERP, Finite Scheduling, Order Entry, among others.

At Alcon, Dave's group continues to manage Global initiatives that will ensure that Alcon has a world-class supply chain totally integrated with Alcon’s Corporate Vision.
